This page was created as part of the CC-025 Second Brain build with type: agent, listing “Kobi” alongside the real named agents (Hermes, Gary Webb, Spider-Man, Tom Skilling, Jake from State Farm, Sal the Plumber) as an “always-on watchdog.” That was wrong.
What Indiana Holmes actually found (2026-07-07)
Exhaustive search across Ecosystem_Agents.md (the canonical agent registry, read in full twice this session), lessons_learned.md, decisions_log.md, Session_Archive_work.md, the pre-Hermes PackRat corpus, and Hermes’s own state.db session history: “Kobi” appears nowhere as a named agent. It only appears in three documents authored the same day as this correction (cc_cc025_briefing.md, grok_cc025_task.md, grok-plan-second-brain-agentic-os.md) — all part of today’s Second Brain planning, prepared by Hermes.
The real Kobi: a 2021 Google Drive document (SMK9 logo design brief) reads — “Silhouette/Outline of my dog Kobi’s whole body sitting on top/above SMK9… Outline of Kobi’s head only, as a puppy. The words Sound Mind K9 Training making a circle around the head.” Kobi is Elliott’s own dog — the dog behind the original SMK9 logo concept, not a software agent.
Root cause
Whoever/whatever prepared today’s CC-025 briefing (Hermes) surfaced “Kobi” from context — likely from the same corpus that has Kobi’s 2021 logo-brief mention — and mistakenly treated the name as a named agent, alongside genuinely real ones. That error then propagated forward into Grok’s independent plan (which took the briefing’s roster at face value) and into this wiki’s stub page. Textbook case of an unverified claim compounding across documents — exactly what the Pre-Response Classification Gate exists to catch, and didn’t, because no one cross-checked the roster against Ecosystem_Agents.md before repeating it.
